Job Description

We are seeking a Geriatrics Physician for a 60-day assignment in Arizona, beginning on Jun 15, 2026. This Physician will provide preventative geriatric primary care, working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role emphasizes careful patient management, accurate coding and charting, and leveraging technology to keep patients out of the hospital.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide compassionate care to patients, ensuring adequate time for each consultation.
  • Execute correct coding and charting practices for all patient interactions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in technology and maintain an organized approach to patient management.
  • Apply expertise in geriatrics and preventative medicine to patient care.
  • Focus on keeping the patient panel out of the hospital through proactive care.
  • Deliver preventative geriatric primary care to avoid hospital admissions or external referrals for elderly patients.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, including high risk (15-20%), emerging risk (10-20%), and low risk (70-80%) geriatric cases.
