We are actively seeking a dedicated Geriatrics Physician for a 60-day assignment with our client in Nevada, commencing Jul 13, 2026. This vital role operates on a Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM schedule, emphasizing comprehensive geriatric patient care, effective charting, and the application of preventative medicine to minimize hospital admissions.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide patient-centered geriatric care, dedicating appropriate time to each individual.
- Ensure accurate and compliant coding and charting practices.
- Maintain organized patient records and leverage technology efficiently.
- Apply expertise in geriatrics and preventative medicine to patient management.
- Actively work to keep the patient panel out of the hospital, focusing on in-house care.
- Manage a diverse geriatric patient panel, categorizing cases as high risk (15-20%), emerging risk (10-20%), and low risk (70-80%).
Additional Information
- Board Certification required in Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR.
- Must be tech-savvy and organized.
- Proven experience in geriatrics and preventative medicine.
