Job Description

Our client in Florida is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 96-day assignment starting Jul 6, 2026. This part-time role involves daily shifts from 9am to 2pm, focusing on comprehensive patient care, medication management, and reviewing lab results. The Physician will handle patient consultations, chart reviews, and order necessary diagnostics for a diverse patient base.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • See patients, meticulously review their charts, and discuss progress on medications.
  • Utilize EMR systems, including Eforce and Practice Fusion, for accurate medication monitoring.
  • Conduct pill counts in collaboration with staff to assess medication levels and inform pain management strategies.
  • Interpret lab results and patient charts to accurately prescribe and dispatch medications.
  • Provide care to a varied patient population, including military personnel, veterans, business owners, and college students.
  • Manage existing patient cases, potentially encountering only a few new patients.
  • Address complex chronic cases, including amputees, and perform wellness checks.
  • Oversee pain medication management and order diagnostic tests such as X-rays and MRI’s as required.
