Locum Tenens Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine Needed in IL

Job Description

Our client in Illinois is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for a 100-day assignment starting Aug 3, 2026. This dynamic role involves seeing 100% Maternal Fetal Medicine patients in an outpatient setting, with responsibilities including evaluation ultrasounds, antenatal testing, outpatient consultations, and amniocentesis. The schedule is 8 AM to 5 PM, in a high-volume, fast-paced environment typically seeing 8 to 14 patients daily. You will join a supportive team comprising 4 full-time physicians and 4 Perinatal Nurse Practitioners.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive Maternal Fetal Medicine care to 100% outpatient patients.
• Perform evaluation ultrasounds.
• Conduct antenatal testing and outpatient consultations.
• Execute amniocentesis procedures.
• Manage a fast-paced environment with a high patient volume, seeing 8 to 14 patients per day, including a mix of new and follow-up patients.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine is required.
• Engage with a robust team including 4 full-time physicians, 4 full-time Perinatal Nurse Practitioners, 6 nurses, 2 CMAs, and 4 receptionists.
