Job Description

Our client is seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 30-day assignment starting May 26, 2026. You will be seeing 10-15 patients per shift in a 12-bed department, managing a variety of obstetrics and gynecology cases, including deliveries, pregnancy management, and gynecological procedures, with shifts running 24 hours.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform low risk pregnancy management
  • Interpret FHR - NST/CST/FSE
  • Conduct Level I/Screening OB Ultrasounds for viability
  • Manage routine deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and decision-making for c-section
  • Handle complicated deliveries such as c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
  • Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
  • Preferably manage high risk pregnancy cases
  • Preferably conduct Level II/Targeted OB Ultrasounds for anatomic assessment
  • Preferably perform amniocentesis
  • Preferably manage office/minor gynecology procedures, including IUD insertion

  • Required Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Provider will be seeing 10-15 patients per shift

  • Shift hours: 7A-7A
