Job Description

Our client in Arizona is actively seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 120-day assignment starting Jul 6, 2026. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient clinic duties, including 24-hour call from 7 AM to 7 AM, and clinic hours Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, providing comprehensive care to patients.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage low risk pregnancies, including patients with pre-existing problems, history of twins, history of toxemia, pyelonephritis, and hyperemesis
  • Handle high risk pregnancies, including patients with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiacs, chronic lung problems, and chronic renal disease
  • Perform FHR Interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
  • Conduct Level 1/screening for viability
  • Manage routine deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and decision making for c-section
  • Manage complicated deliveries including c-section, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
  • Perform VBACs
  • Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
  • Conduct office/minor gynecology procedures such as IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
  • Perform Surgical gynecology
  • Maintain laser certification
