Job Description

We are actively seeking a skilled Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for an exciting 120-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Arizona, starting Jul 6, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive care in an outpatient OBGYN clinic, with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 8a to 5p. The physician will manage a variety of cases, including low and high-risk pregnancies, routine and complicated deliveries, as well as general office and surgical gynecology.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage low risk pregnancies (patients with pre-existing problems, history of twins, history of toxemia, pyelonephritis, hyperemesis, etc)
  • Manage high risk pregnancies (patients with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiacs, chronic lung problems, chronic renal disease, etc)
  • Perform FHR Interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
  • Conduct Level 1/screening (viability)
  • Perform routine delivery - vaginal, low forceps, decision making for c-section
  • Handle complicated delivery - c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc
  • Perform VBACs
  • Repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
  • Conduct office/minor gynecology - IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc
  • Perform Surgical gynecology
  • Hold laser certification
