Job Description

Our client in Maryland is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Physician for a 6-day assignment starting Aug 17, 2026. This role involves covering nights, weekends, and holidays with flexible 7a to 7p, 7p to 7a, or 24-hour shifts. The physician will primarily handle deliveries, manage high-risk obstetric patients, provide occasional GYN ED consults, and be proficient in managing conditions like eclampsia seizures and postpartum hemorrhage.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Primarily handle deliveries with a generally low annual volume.
• Manage occasional GYN ED consults as needed.
• Provide care for a significant high-risk patient population, including unscheduled drop-ins.
• Expertly manage eclampsia seizures and postpartum hemorrhage.
• Work within a facility that features a nursery.
• Cover scheduled shifts for nights, weekends, and holidays.
