Job Description

Our client in SC is actively seeking a skilled Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 25-day assignment, commencing Jul 3, 2026. This vital role primarily focuses on providing 24-hour out-of-house call coverage for all deliveries, C-sections, and high-risk cases. The schedule prioritizes weekend coverage, typically from Friday to Monday morning, ensuring continuous patient care within the labor and delivery unit.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage for all deliveries and C-sections, including high-risk cases.
• Manage weekend coverage needs from Friday to Monday morning, 7am-7am each shift.
• Attend to deliveries and C-sections, including occasional inpatient consults.
• Work within a special care nursery, supporting a labor and delivery unit.
• Potential opportunity to add clinic days each month to increase shifts, with 24-hour weekend call coverage remaining the main priority.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• The facility utilizes Meditech EHR.
