Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Occupational Medicine Needed in CO

Job Description

Our client is actively seeking a dedicated Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 15-day assignment in Colorado, commencing May 1, 2026. This role involves an 8-hour workday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on comprehensive care for all workman's compensation cases and evaluating a variety of occupational injuries and conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Evaluate and manage common occupational musculoskeletal injuries of the neck, back, and upper and lower extremities
• Manage work-related injuries to the head with or without loss of consciousness, assuming the individual is currently conscious and alert
• Manage work-related injuries to the chest or abdomen, with the possibility of hernias
• Treat work-related lacerations of the face and extremities which do not impair function or sensation
• Manage work-related foreign bodies to the eye, and other non-penetrating eye injuries or conditions of the eye that do not affect vision
• Treat work-related rashes and other occupational skin conditions
• Evaluate occupational asthma and other work-related respiratory symptoms
• Perform DOT physicals
