Job Description

Our client seeks a dedicated Physician Assistant - Pain Management for an exciting 60-day assignment in California, commencing May 25, 2026. This role involves a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule, focusing on comprehensive patient evaluations, pain assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and patient education to ensure optimal outcomes.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Patient evaluations (H&P)
  • Pain assessments / functional scales
  • Imaging review (MRI, CT, X-ray)
  • Diagnosis & treatment planning
  • Medication management (including opioids)
  • Patient education on pain management plans
  • Monitoring compliance (UDS, agreements)
  • Documentation & EMR charting
  • Follow-up care & reassessment


Additional Information

  • EMR: eClinicalWorks
  • Type of cases provider will be seeing: Chronic spine pain (back & neck), Radiculopathy / nerve pain, Degenerative joint conditions (arthritis), Post-surgical & complex pain conditions, Neuropathic & chronic pain syndromes
