Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Pediatrics Needed in TX

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physician Assistant for a 13-day assignment in Texas, starting Jul 20, 2026. This role involves working 13-hour PM shifts from 7p-8a, focusing on patients with complex needs, including stable VADs, trach/ventilator dependence, inotropic infusions, chest tube management, external pacing, and stable peritoneal dialysis.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Patients often present with complex needs, including:
• Stable VADs (Ventricular Assist Devices)
• Trach/ventilator dependence
• Inotropic infusions: Milrinone and Dopamine
• Chest tubes (including management and removal)
• External pacing wires (AAI mode only)
• Stable peritoneal dialysis

Additional Information

• Board Certifications required: Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC)
