Job Description

Our client in California is actively seeking a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician for a 90-day assignment beginning Jun 4, 2026. This role involves seeing an average of 8 clinic patients daily, managing 2-3 inpatient admissions and discharges, and participating in an on-call schedule that includes weeknights and 24-hour weekends, complementing the standard Monday-Friday clinic hours.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • See an average of 8 patients per day in clinic for routine appointments and consultations.
  • Manage 2-3 admissions and discharges per day from the inpatient unit.
  • Address late admissions the following day.
  • Work Monday-Friday from approximately 8am to 4:30pm/5pm in clinic.
  • Participate in overnight call from 5pm to 8am the following morning.
  • Take 24-hour weekend call when applicable.
  • Experience with trigger point and steroid injections is highly preferred.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is required.
  • The facility utilizes the Cerner EMR system.
