We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncologist to join our client's team in New York. Beginning Jun 24, 2026, this 180-day assignment involves a schedule of 8a-4p or 9a-5:30p, focusing on diagnosing cancer, developing personalized treatment plans, administering advanced radiation therapy, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The role also includes managing side effects and contributing to oncology research.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Diagnosing cancer: Evaluating patients' medical history and conducting diagnostic tests to identify the best treatment strategy.
  • Developing treatment plans: Creating personalized radiation therapy plans based on the type, stage, and location of cancer.
  • Administering radiation therapy: Executing treatments such as stereotactic radiosurgery and other advanced methods.
  • Monitoring patient progress: Tracking the effectiveness of the treatment and making necessary adjustments.
  • Managing side effects: Providing care and managing potential side effects of radiation therapy.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team: Working with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care.
