Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Radiation Oncology for a 6-day assignment with our client in New York, commencing Dec 21, 2026. This role features an 8a-4p schedule, encompassing critical duties such as diagnosing cancer, developing and administering advanced radiation therapy plans, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive cancer care.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Diagnosing cancer: Evaluating patients medical history and conducting diagnostic tests to identify the best treatment strategy.
  • Developing treatment plans: Creating personalized radiation therapy plans based on the type, stage, and location of cancer.
  • Administering radiation therapy: Executing treatments such as stereotactic radiosurgery and other advanced methods.
  • Monitoring patient progress: Tracking the effectiveness of the treatment and making necessary adjustments.
  • Managing side effects: Providing care and managing potential side effects of radiation therapy.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team: Working with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care.
  • Conducting research: Engaging in research related to radiation oncology to improve patient outcomes.
