Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to join our client in North Carolina for a 60-day assignment starting Jul 28, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive urgent care to adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up), performing various minor procedures such as I&D and laceration repair, and managing a high volume of cases with shift hours to be determined. You will operate as the sole provider in the center, utilizing the Epic EMR system for all patient visits.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive urgent care services to patients of all ages, from 6 months and up.
  • Act as the sole provider in the center, managing up to 60 patients per day with an average of 40.
  • Perform essential minor procedures including Incision and Drainage (I&D), laceration repair, and ear irrigation.
  • Manage a high volume of patient care effectively and efficiently.
  • Utilize the Epic EMR system for all patient documentation and visits.
  • Treat both adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of urgent care needs.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Urgent Care

  • Minimum of 12 months experience treating adults and pediatrics (6 months+) required.
  • Must be able to handle high volume patient care independently.
  • Must be able to see and treat all patients as the sole provider in the center.
