Job Description

Our client in Washington is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 70-day assignment starting Jun 2, 2026. This role involves working independently as the sole provider at a clinic, managing a varied patient load averaging around 20 daily, with a schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off, specifically Tuesday through Monday, 10am to 6pm. You will handle typical urgent care cases, including common procedures.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the sole provider at the clinic.
  • Manage an average of 20 patients per day, with caseloads ranging from less than 10 to over 30 patients daily.
  • Adhere to a 7-on, 7-off schedule, working Tuesday through Monday from 10am to 6pm.
  • Treat typical urgent care cases, accommodating both walk-in and scheduled patients.
  • Perform common urgent care procedures such as sutures, IMDs, toenail removal, laceration repair, reading x-rays, injections, and foreign body removal.
