Job Description

Our client in Washington is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 10-day assignment starting Jun 21, 2026. This role involves serving as the sole provider at the clinic, managing a high volume of typical urgent care cases, including various procedures, for an average of 20 patients daily. The schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off, Tuesday through Monday, with shifts from 10am-6pm.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the sole provider at the clinic.
  • Manage a daily patient load averaging 20, with fluctuations from less than 10 to over 30 patients.
  • Work a 7-on, 7-off schedule (approximately 56 hours per week) from Tuesday to Monday, 10am-6pm.
  • Handle typical urgent care cases, including walk-ins and scheduled patients.
  • Perform procedures such as sutures, IMD's, toe nail removal, laceration repair, x-ray interpretation, injections, and foreign body removal.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification required: Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP), Urgent Care.
  • EMR System: Cerner.
