Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a dynamic 120-day assignment with our client in Indiana, commencing Jul 20, 2026. This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive emergency medicine coverage, managing 6-10 patient encounters per shift, and actively contributing to advancing clinical operations, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives within the department.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medicine coverage.
  • Manage 6-10 patient encounters per shift.
  • Advance emergency department clinical operations.
  • Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Promote continuous process improvement within the ED.
  • Support the broader tripartite mission of clinical excellence, education, and scholarship.
  • Work within a department supported by 24-hour access to Anesthesia, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Catheterization Lab, General Surgery, Laboratory, Neuro-Surgery, OR Response Time, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology, and Vascular Surgery.
  • Address cases in the L&D department; newborn deliveries are not conducted within the ED.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required.
  • EMR System: Cerner.
