Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in OK

Job Description

We are seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 90-day assignment in Oklahoma, starting Jun 22, 2026. This position involves 24-hour shifts and focuses on providing comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services, including deliveries, patient encounters, and a broad range of crucial OB/GYN procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services, including deliveries and patient encounters.
• Perform routine deliveries such as vaginal, C-section, breech, multiple births, and abruptions, alongside repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
• Manage both low and high risk pregnancies, including FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and low forceps procedures.
• Make informed decisions for C-sections, handle complicated deliveries, and perform VBACs.
• Conduct office/minor gynecology, surgical gynecology, and utilize laser certification where applicable.
• See approximately 5 patient encounters per shift.

Additional Information

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Experience with Athenahealth and Cerner EMR systems.
