Job Description

Our client in Oklahoma is seeking a Physician specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology for a 90-day assignment starting Jul 24, 2026. This role offers 24-hour ED call coverage for OB/GYN cases, encompassing a wide range of duties from managing low and high-risk pregnancies, performing various delivery types including C-sections and VBACs, to conducting office and surgical gynecology procedures. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care within a dynamic healthcare environment.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage low risk and high risk pregnancies
  • Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
  • Conduct and interpret OB Ultrasounds (Level I/Screening, Level II/Targeted)
  • Perform Amniocentesis
  • Oversee routine deliveries (Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section)
  • Manage complicated deliveries (C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBACs)
  • Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
  • Conduct office/minor gynecology procedures (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP)
  • Perform surgical gynecology (Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, Operative/major)
  • Maintain Laser certification
  • Provide 24 hour ED call coverage for OB/GYN cases

  • Required Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • EMR: Epic
  • Facility is a Level 3 trauma center
  • Average of 30 deliveries per month and 25,000 ED visits
  • Facility features 3 LDRP rooms, 8 post-partum rooms, 2 C-section suites, and 4 ORs per day
  • Full 24/7 anesthesia support available
  • Team includes fellowship-trained ED physicians and in-house Hospitalists
