To all of our clients and providers: Happy National Locum Tenens Week!
Every year during the 2nd full week of August, National Locum Tenens Week serves as an annual platform for the healthcare staffing industry to collectively recognize the vital role that locum tenens providers serve in the United States.
This year, more than ever, we recognize how essential locum tenens providers truly are.
In a nation where healthcare providers are already in short supply, 2020 and the introduction of COVID-19 has created more need for locum tenens providers in cities, rural areas, and communities in between.
In the face of this change, we have seen locum tenens providers stepping up to help, without hesitation. We have also seen providers in permanent roles ask how they can help, and board a flight to New York City for their first locum assignment the very next week.
So to the locum providers and the clients, we have one thing to say:
Thank you.
From all of us at Barton Associates, we celebrate you this week and every week.
We hope you enjoy the video we put together above, and again, Happy National Locum Tenens Week.
