Job Description

Our client is seeking a Family Practice Physician for a high-volume, outpatient/community-based role in New York. This 129-day assignment is set to begin May 11, 2026, with a daily schedule from 9a-5p. The physician will manage a mix of primary care, urgent care, and minor procedures, working within a team to serve an underserved population, often with some operational responsibility.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide high-volume outpatient and community-based primary care services.
  • Manage urgent care cases and perform minor procedures.
  • Collaborate within a team to deliver comprehensive patient care, including some operational responsibility.
  • Serve an underserved and Medicaid-heavy patient population.
  • Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and hyperlipidemia.
  • Conduct physicals and acute sick visits for conditions like upper respiratory infections, influenza, UTIs, minor injuries, and rashes.
  • Address cases with overlap in behavioral health (depression, anxiety), women's health, and pediatrics (well-child visits, vaccines, common illnesses).
