Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 25-day assignment with our client in New York, commencing Jun 29, 2026. This high-volume outpatient and community-based role involves a mix of primary care, urgent care, minor procedures, and team-based care, primarily serving an underserved population with shifts from 9a-5p.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide high-volume outpatient and community-based care.
  • Manage a mix of primary care, urgent care, and minor procedures.
  • Work collaboratively in a team-based care setting, serving an often underserved population.
  • Address chronic disease management for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and hyperlipidemia.
  • Conduct physical examinations.
  • Handle acute sick visits including upper respiratory infections, influenza, UTIs, minor injuries, rashes, and other infections.
  • Manage cases with overlap into behavioral health, focusing on depression and anxiety.
  • Provide women's health services.
  • Perform pediatric care, including well child visits, vaccinations, and common childhood illnesses.
  • Operate within a community health setting, encompassing chronic disease management, sick visits, basic procedures, and some behavioral health for a diverse population.
