Locum Tenens Physician - Internal Medicine Needed in FL

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Internal Medicine Physician for a 96-day assignment in Florida, commencing Sep 22, 2026. This role involves managing patient care, overseeing medication regimens, and reviewing labs and charts during shifts from 9am to 2pm.

Responsibilities and Duties

• See patients and conduct comprehensive chart reviews.
• Monitor patient progress on current medications.
• Manage patient medication regimens utilizing Practice Fusion and e force systems.
• Collaborate with staff on pill counts to assess medication levels and pain management needs.
• Review laboratory results and patient charts to inform treatment plans.
• Order diagnostic imaging such as X-rays and MRI's as clinically indicated.
• Perform wellness checks for patients.
• Provide specialized pain medication management.
• Care for a diverse patient population including military personnel, veterans, business owners, and college students.
• Manage patients with chronic and complex cases, including amputations.

Additional Information

• Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
