Job Description

Our client in Colorado is seeking a dedicated Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant for a 15-day assignment, beginning May 1, 2026. This position involves evaluating and managing all workman's comp cases during 8 AM - 5 PM shifts, including common occupational musculoskeletal injuries, work-related head injuries, lacerations, skin conditions, and performing DOT physicals.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Evaluate and manage common occupational musculoskeletal injuries of the neck, back, and upper and lower extremities.
  • Manage work-related injuries to the head with or without loss of consciousness, assuming the individual is currently conscious and alert.
  • Address work-related injuries to the chest or abdomen, with the possibility of hernias.
  • Treat work-related lacerations of the face and extremities which do not impair function or sensation.
  • Handle work-related foreign bodies to the eye, and other non-penetrating eye injuries or conditions of the eye that do not affect vision.
  • Manage work-related rashes and other occupational skin conditions.
  • Address occupational asthma and other work-related respiratory symptoms.
  • Perform DOT physicals.


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Occupational Medicine is required.
  • EMR: Systoc
  • Work schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM daily.
