Job Description
Our client in South Carolina is seeking a skilled Psychologist for an 84-day assignment starting Jun 29, 2026. This role involves a 7 on 7 off rotating schedule, with inpatient duties from 8a-5p and on-call responsibilities. The Psychologist will provide general adult inpatient consults throughout the hospital, focusing on acute care and general psychiatry cases, without ER coverage.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide general adult inpatient consults throughout the hospital.
- Participate in a 7 on 7 off rotating schedule with the Medical director.
- Manage inpatient duties from 8a - 5 pm, with on-call responsibilities from 5 pm - 8a.
- Handle acute care and general psychiatry cases, including approximately 40 consults per month.
- No emergency room coverage required.
Additional Information
- Board certification in Psychiatry required.
