Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 2-day assignment in Washington, beginning Jul 6, 2026. The incoming provider will be the sole practitioner at a busy clinic, managing an average of 20 patients daily with varying caseloads. The schedule involves 7 days on, 7 days off, specifically Tuesday through Monday, from 10am to 6pm, totaling approximately 56 hours per week. Duties include handling typical urgent care cases, performing various procedures like sutures and laceration repair, and reading x-rays.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the sole provider at the clinic.
  • Manage an average of 20 patients per day, with caseloads ranging from under 10 to over 30 patients.
  • Work a 7-day on, 7-day off schedule, typically Tuesday through Monday, from 10am to 6pm.
  • Address typical urgent care cases, including both walk-in and scheduled patients.
  • Perform procedures such as sutures, IMD's, toe nail removal, laceration repair, injections, and foreign body removal.
  • Read x-rays as required.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) and Urgent Care certification.
