Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care Needed in TX

Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 27-day assignment in Texas, starting Jun 4, 2026. Our client requires a sole provider ready to manage all urgent care cases and procedures, ensuring charts are closed by the end of each shift. Shifts will include both AM (8am-4pm) and PM (3pm-11pm) rotations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate as the sole provider, managing all urgent care cases and procedures.
• Close all patient charts by the end of each shift.
• Provide care for bread and butter urgent care cases.
• Perform in-office procedures including I&D, sutures, foreign body removal, and toe nail removal.
• Address occupational medicine services such as workplace injuries, evaluations, and drug testing at some locations.
• No clinical training will be provided; must be ready to hit the ground running.
