Locum Tenens Physician - Cardiologist Needed in MD

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physician specializing in Cardiology for a 45-day assignment in Maryland, starting Jul 6, 2026. This role involves inpatient day coverage from 8a to 5p, with no night call responsibilities. The successful candidate will primarily work in the echo lab, performing and reading a high volume of echocardiograms.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide inpatient day coverage with no night call
• Perform duties within the echo lab
• Read 20-25 echocardiograms per day
• Opportunity to perform Intraoperative TEEs for Structural Heart procedures including Left Atrial TAVR, Tricuspid Valve Procedures, Mitral Valve Procedures, MitaClip, TMVAR, Tricuspid Clips, ASD, PFO, and LAA closure devices
