Job Description

Our client in California is seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry for an 80-day assignment starting Jun 29, 2026. This role involves a Monday through Thursday schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm, where you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders in children and teenagers, developing and managing individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders in children and teenagers.
  • Develops and manages individualized treatment plans that may include therapy, medication, or coordination with families, schools, and other healthcare providers.
  • Addresses conditions like ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorders, and trauma-related issues.
  • Monitors progress and adjusts care plans to support the child’s long-term mental and emotional development.
