Responsibilities will include managing a diverse patient population with acute care needs, addressing chronic conditions requiring specialist referrals, and handling various urgent care type visits.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide walk-in and same-day provider shifts within an IHS OP clinic setting.
- Manage 30-minute appointment slots, primarily addressing acute care cases.
- Evaluate and refer patients with chronic conditions to specialists as needed.
- Handle urgent care type visits.
- Treat a general family practice patient population of all ages in a rural IHS environment.
