Our client in Arizona is actively seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day assignment, commencing on Aug 31, 2026. This vital role involves providing comprehensive care during 8-5 shifts at an IHS OP clinic, primarily focusing on walk-in and same-day provider shifts. Responsibilities will include managing a diverse patient population with acute care needs, addressing chronic conditions requiring specialist referrals, and handling various urgent care type visits.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide walk-in and same-day provider shifts within an IHS OP clinic setting.
  • Manage 30-minute appointment slots, primarily addressing acute care cases.
  • Evaluate and refer patients with chronic conditions to specialists as needed.
  • Handle urgent care type visits.
  • Treat a general family practice patient population of all ages in a rural IHS environment.


Additional Information

  • Work with the RPMS electronic medical record system.
  • Standard shift hours are 8-5.
