Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment with our client in California, commencing Jul 13, 2026. This role involves Monday to Friday shifts, including some telehealth, providing primary care within an FQHC setting. The successful candidate will manage a diverse patient population, focusing on adult care, well-child checks, and addressing typical family practice complaints.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide primary care within an FQHC setting, addressing rural health aspects.
  • Manage three or more complaints per visit, covering common conditions such as cold, cough, flu, hypertension, and diabetes.
  • Offer care for diverse patient populations, including homeless care and LGBTQ+ care.
  • Conduct annual check-ups, well-child checks, and school physicals.
  • Primarily see adult patients; no pregnant patients.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine is required.
  • Experience with Epic EMR system.
  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, and Friday from 8:30am to 12:30pm for telehealth, with 12:30pm to 4:00pm flexible for remote or in-clinic work.
