Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for an engaging 150-day locum tenens assignment in Washington, starting Jun 8, 2026. This Chief Medical Officer position involves a split of 40% administrative duties and 60% clinic work, where you will oversee two Nurse Practitioners and two physicians, collaborating closely with the clinic director and CEO. The schedule offers shifts from 7AM to 6PM or 7:30AM to 4:30PM, focusing on comprehensive family practice cases including cold, cough, flu, pediatric patients, minor mental health, well woman, and child checks.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as Chief Medical Officer, with a focus on 40% administrative and 60% clinical responsibilities.
  • Oversee and provide guidance to two Nurse Practitioners and two physicians.
  • Collaborate with the clinic director and CEO on administrative duties.
  • Manage a diverse range of family practice cases including cold, cough, and flu.
  • Provide care for a significant number of pediatric patients, approximately one-third of the patient base.
  • Recognize and comfortably manage minor mental health cases.
  • Conduct well woman and child checks.


Additional Information
