Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a 24-day assignment in New York, beginning Jun 12, 2026. This role involves 2-3 days of clinic work from 10am to 6pm, handling a variety of sick and well visits, including common illnesses, minor injuries, physicals, and vaccinations. The position also includes a 1in4 or 1in5 call schedule for answering service inquiries, with weekend call encompassing clinic hours and newborn rounding in affiliated hospitals, though hospital rounds are physician-led.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work in the clinic 2-3 days during the week seeing sick and well visits (cold, cough flu, respiratory issues, minor injuries, physicals, vaccinations for school etc.).
  • Take weekend or weekday call 1in4 or 1in5; call involves answering questions from an answering service.
  • Weekend call includes seeing patients in the clinic from 9am-12pm and rounding on newborns in one of the 2 affiliated hospitals in the morning (Nurse Practitioners would not be rounding in the hospital, only physicians).
  • Shift hours are 10am - 6pm.
