Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Jul 28, 2026. This critical role involves serving as the sole provider, managing a high volume of urgent care patients of all ages (6 months and up), and performing essential minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, and ear irrigation. Experience with Epic EMR will be essential for managing daily patient visits.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive urgent care to patients of all ages, from 6 months and up.
  • Manage a high volume of patients, seeing an average of 40 and up to 60 patients per day.
  • Perform essential minor procedures including incision and drainage (I&D), laceration repair, and ear irrigation.
  • Operate as the sole provider in the center, demonstrating independent decision-making and patient management.
  • Utilize Epic EMR for all patient documentation and visits.


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Urgent Care is required.
  • Experience with Epic EMR is required.
  • Minimum of 12 months of Physician Assistant experience is required.
  • Must have experience treating adult and pediatric patients (6 months and older).
  • Ability to handle a high volume of patient care while serving as the sole provider.
