Job Description
Our client in California is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician for a 14-day assignment starting Dec 21, 2026. This role requires managing 24-hour shifts focused on high-risk deliveries and comprehensive inpatient care, including emergency room consults, admits, and critical procedures such as intubation and lumbar punctures.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Attend high-risk C-sections.
- Respond to high-risk vaginal deliveries.
- Manage admits, rounding, and ER consults while on call.
- Perform intubation and stabilization for transport.
- Conduct circumcisions and lumbar punctures.
Additional Information
- EMR: Epic
- This is a rural location.
- The physician will be the sole pediatric hospitalist in the county.
- Shift schedule is 7am-7am.
