Job Description

We are actively seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for a 48-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Connecticut, starting on Jul 6, 2026. This role involves administering general anesthesia, primarily for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting, and conducting pre-operative assessments. Shifts typically begin at 6 am and conclude around 3 pm, with some variability.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Administer general anesthesia with nasal intubation under TIVA for full mouth dental implants in an office based setting
  • Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
  • Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
  • Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events
  • Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment
