Job Description

Our client in Tennessee is seeking a skilled Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 24-day locum tenens assignment, commencing Sep 1, 2026. This role involves comprehensive 24-hour call coverage for deliveries and C-sections, primarily during weekend shifts from Friday afternoon to Monday morning, often with out-of-house call flexibility.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide 24-hour call coverage for deliveries and C-sections, often with out-of-house call.
  • Primarily manage deliveries and C-sections.
  • Handle cases up to 35 weeks gestation; anything under 35 weeks will be transferred out.
  • Work within a Nursery.
  • Typical shifts are from Friday at 4PM until Monday at 7AM.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
  • Experience with Cerner EMR system.
