Job Description

Our client in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist to begin a 7-day assignment on Jun 25, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts, covering emergency department call, and making rounds on the floor, managing patients within a unit that averages 5 patients. The physician will be responsible for comprehensive inpatient care and ED consultations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour emergency department call coverage.
• Conduct daily rounds on the inpatient floor.
• Manage patients within a unit, with an average of 5 patients.
• Be responsible for patient care and ED call within a Trauma Center environment.

Additional Information

• Board Certified in Pediatrics or Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
• Experience with Epic EMR system.
• Shift hours are 24 hours.
