Job Description

Our client in California is seeking an Anesthetist for a 60-day assignment starting Mar 30, 2026. This role involves providing anesthesia care across a diverse range of surgical services in both hospital and freestanding surgery center settings, including support for labor and delivery, healthy pediatric cases, and limited interventional radiology procedures, with flexible 8, 10, or 12+ hour shifts available.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia services across multiple operating rooms in both the main hospital and a freestanding surgery center.
  • Manage anesthesia for a diverse patient population undergoing procedures such as Cardiology (pacemakers), Dental, Head and Neck Surgery, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Urology.
  • Support a busy labor and delivery service, including obstetric anesthesia.
  • Administer anesthesia for healthy pediatric cases.
  • Offer limited support for Interventional Radiology and out-of-OR procedures.
  • The assignment does not include neuro, spine, or open heart cases.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology required.
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Epic.
