Job Description

We are actively seeking a skilled Anesthetist to join our client's team in Maine for an 8-day assignment starting Jun 29, 2026. This role involves a predictable Monday to Thursday schedule from 7a to 4p, primarily focusing on scheduled ambulatory procedures with a diverse range of cases.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work Monday through Thursday with scheduled ambulatory procedures, ensuring a predictable schedule and workload.
  • Provide standard Anesthetist services within a small hospital setting.
  • Manage endoscopy and colonoscopy cases.
  • Perform anesthesia for ENT procedures, including sinus surgery, tonsillectomy, and ear tubes.
  • Support orthopedic procedures such as arthroscopies (knee, shoulder, etc.).
  • Administer pain management techniques, including epidurals, nerve blocks, and joint injections.
  • Assist with minor general surgery cases like hernia repair, cyst removal, and biopsies.
  • Facilitate podiatric surgeries, including bunionectomy and other foot/ankle procedures.
