We are seeking a skilled Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) for a 100-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Missouri. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a diverse caseload including cardiac procedures and a general mix of cases in both the OR and offsite locations such as IR, Cath lab, MRI, Endo, and Bronch. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule of either 4x10 hour shifts or 4x8 hour shifts, starting on 10/06/2025. The position requires proficiency with Epic EMR system and an active Missouri license. There is potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Assist in providing anesthesia care for a variety of surgical and medical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and help develop anesthesia care plans
• Administer and monitor anesthesia during procedures under supervision
• Assist in managing patients' post-anesthesia recovery
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period
• Adapt to various settings including OR, IR, Cath lab, MRI, Endo, and Bronch
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient care management
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed
Additional Information:
• Must have active Missouri license
• Experience with cardiac anesthesia preferred
