Responsibilities and Duties:
• Administer general anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia plans
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed during procedures
• Manage post-anesthesia recovery and address any complications
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and management
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and best practices in anesthesia care
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Participate in any required departmental meetings or training sessions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anesthesia techniques and technologies
Additional Information:
• Comfort with cardiac, neurological, gastrointestinal, and catheterization lab procedures required
• Minimum of 2 weeks per month availability needed
• Active Oklahoma CRNA license required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
