Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 120-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting May 11, 2026. This role involves Monday to Friday shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no call responsibilities. The Anesthetist will manage a diverse range of Main OR cases including spine, ortho, gyn, urology, gallbladder, total joints, and rare healthy pediatric cases, while excluding heads, hearts, and transplant procedures.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work alongside Anesthesiologists on Monday to Friday shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Perform 8-hour shifts with no call schedule.
  • Handle cases in the Main OR, including spine, ortho, gyn, urology, gallbladder, and total joints.
  • Manage healthy pediatric cases when they rarely occur, referring out other pediatric cases.
  • Exclude heads, hearts, or transplant cases from the scope of practice.
  • Utilize standardized equipment, including Omni Cell, which is consistent across all rooms.

  • EMR: Meditech EHR
  • Type of cases: Main OR, spine, ortho, gyn, urology, gallbladder, total joints, rare healthy peds only (anything else referred out). No Heads, Hearts, or Transplants. Omni Cell is used, and equipment is standardized in every room.
