Job Description

Our client in PA is seeking an experienced Anesthetist for a 150-day assignment starting Jun 22, 2026. This role involves comprehensive anesthesia care within a Trauma facility, encompassing a wide range of surgical specialties including general, orthopedics, trauma, and neurosurgery. The successful candidate will assess, prepare, and manage patients through various anesthetic plans, from general to regional anesthesia, while performing history and physicals and managing invasive monitoring and airway. No hearts, OB, or blocks are required.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assess, prepare, and manage patients for anesthesia care in the perioperative/procedural period.
  • Develop and implement anesthetic plans.
  • Perform history and physical assessments and obtain informed consent.
  • Administer general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, and IV regional blocks.
  • Provide monitored anesthesia care (MAC).
  • Perform invasive monitoring placement and airway management.
  • Manage cases across specialties including general, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, NORA, robotic surgery, gynecology, and ENT.
  • This assignment does not require managing hearts, OB, or blocks.


Additional Information

  • EMR system utilized: Cerner
  • Board Certification: National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required.
  • Work will be performed at a Trauma facility.
