Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in anesthesiology for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in West Virginia. This opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, with day shifts Monday through Friday, offering a consistent schedule and exposure to a wide variety of surgical cases.

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (3-4 weeks/month); option for alternating 4-day weeks (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday); daily breaks throughout the day

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide anesthesia services across 15 operating rooms and 5 endoscopy sites
  • Deliver care for a broad range of case types including orthopedic, general surgery, endoscopy, gastrointestinal, potential endoscopy, hips, spinal, ENT, dental, gynecology, and other specialties
  • Exclude cases involving craniotomy, cardiac, or critically ill pediatric patients
  • Work collaboratively with the surgical and perioperative team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic EMR system
  • Adhere to required certifications, including ACLS, BLS, and PALS

Additional Information
  • Valid West Virginia license required
  • Must hold current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • Experience with a range of surgical case types is essential
  • Ability to adapt to a structured daily schedule with regular breaks
