Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for a 60-day assignment in California, beginning Mar 30, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia services across a main hospital with a busy L&D and multiple operating rooms, as well as a satellite surgery center, offering flexible 8, 10, or 12+ hour shifts to accommodate diverse surgical needs.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia services in a main hospital featuring operating rooms and a moderately active labor and delivery service.
  • Cover cases at a freestanding surgery center on a nearby satellite campus, which includes additional operating rooms.
  • Deliver anesthesia for a wide range of surgical services, including Cardiology (pacemakers), Dental, HNS, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Urology.
  • Care for healthy pediatric patients.
  • Offer limited support for Interventional Radiology and other out-of-OR procedures.
  • Work schedules that accommodate flexible hours, with no cap on the total hours worked per assignment, ensuring no provider is asked to work more than a 24-hour shift.
  • Note: There are no Neuro, Spine, or Open Heart cases.
