Job Description

We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment in Maryland, starting Apr 1, 2026, for 132 days. This ongoing FTE opportunity features day shifts from 7am to 5pm, with a preferred schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, in-house call, and a typical community hospital caseload. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Anesthesiology and comfortable with a variety of general cases.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide anesthesia care for general surgery, urology, orthopedics, OB, and some electrophysiology cases
  • Manage a standard community hospital caseload; no cardiac surgery or interventional neurology
  • Participate in weekly FTE coverage on an ongoing basis
  • Take in-house call as scheduled
  • Collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
