Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist for a 132-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland starting Apr 1, 2026. This opportunity offers weekly FTE coverage with a preferred schedule of four 10-hour shifts, plus weekday and weekend call. The caseload includes general surgery, urology, orthopedics, OB, some EP, and cardiac surgery, typical of a smaller community hospital environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide anesthesia care for a variety of cases including general surgery, urology, orthopedics, obstetrics, electrophysiology, and cardiac surgery
  • Deliver anesthesia services consistent with the expectations of a smaller community hospital
  • Participate in a rotating call schedule, including one weekday call each week and one weekend per month
  • Ensure comprehensive patient monitoring and safety throughout procedures
  • Collaborate effectively with surgical and perioperative teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Uphold all hospital policies and procedures
